We have some pretty big news: Athletic Brewing was named 2026 Brewery of the Year at the third annual International Non-Alcoholic Competition.

Our lineup also earned eight individual medals, including one Double Gold, three Golds, two Silvers and two Bronzes.

We are proud of the recognition. But the award belongs to more than the people inside our breweries.

It also belongs to everyone who has cracked open an Athletic, brought a six-pack to a gathering, shared a favorite brew with a friend or told us which style we absolutely needed to make next.

What's the International Non-Alcoholic Competition?

The International Non-Alcoholic Competition, or INAC, evaluates non-alcoholic beverages from producers around the world.

The competition received more than 200 entries representing over seven countries. Leading non-alcoholic beverage buyers judged the products by category and price.

Athletic Brewing was recognized as the competition’s overall Brewery of the Year for 2026.

Atletica — Double Gold, 96 Points

Crisp, refreshing and now officially double-gold delicious.

Atletica earned Athletic Brewing’s highest individual score of the competition with 96 points and a Double Gold medal.

Athletic Lite — Gold, 95 Points

Light-bodied, highly refreshing and apparently very good at winning things.

Athletic Lite received a Gold medal and 95 points.

Paloma — Gold, 95 Points

Bright aromas of tart grapefruit and lime worthy of the top step on the podium.

Our “Paloma” cocktail-inspired brew earned a Gold medal and 95 points.

Athletic Lite Lime & Salt — Gold, 95 Points

A refreshing splash of lime and sea salt with a gold-medal finish.

Athletic Lite Lime & Salt also took home Gold with 95 points.

Free Wave Hazy IPA — Silver, 93 Points

Juicy, hazy and still making waves.

Free Wave Hazy IPA earned a Silver medal and a score of 93.

Moscow Mule — Silver, 93 Points

Aromas of ginger and tart lime earned something shiny.

Our Moscow “Mule” cocktail-inspired brew earned Silver and 93 points.

Upside Dawn Golden — Bronze, 91 Points

A smooth, refreshing classic that continues to rise to the occasion.

Upside Dawn received a Bronze medal with a score of 91.

Ripe Pursuit Lemon Radler — Bronze, 91 Points

A bright, citrusy Radler built for sunny days and victory laps.

Ripe Pursuit also took home Bronze and 91 points.

What does Brewery of the Year mean to us?

Great non-alcoholic beer is about building flavor, maintaining balance and making beverages that people want to drink. Every style presents a different challenge, from preserving hop aroma in a hazy IPA to delivering crisp refreshment in a light brew.

Recognition across eight very different beverages makes this honor especially meaningful. It reflects the experimentation, care and relentless work happening across our brewing team.

More importantly, it reinforces the idea that Athletic was founded on: choosing a non-alcoholic beer should never feel like settling.
