 Totally fair question. It comes down to convenience and variety:

• Shipping beverages is expensive. These are heavy, liquid-filled boxes that need to be packaged securely. Getting a few packs to your doorstep costs more per pack than sending a pallet to a store.
• Online = variety. Many of the brews you see on our site, like limited-edition brews or experimental pilot batches, are brewed in smaller quantities and typically use more expensive ingredients. Ordering online allows you the opportunity to try products you can’t get in-store.
• We pack orders ourselves. Unlike many brands, we don’t outsource fulfillment. Every online order is picked, packed, and shipped by our own dedicated team. Your order comes directly from our brewery, not some warehouse.

Yes — but only a tiny amount.

In the U.S., “non-alcoholic” means a brew contains less than 0.5% ABV (alcohol by volume). That’s the legal standard across most non-alcoholic beers, including ours. Some brands make 0.0% options, but many craft non-alcoholic brews fall under that 0.5% threshold. We understand many customers have reasons to avoid alcohol, even small amounts. In our experience, however, we find that the processes involved in reducing alcohol to 0.0% significantly impact the flavor profile of the brew, and therefore the drinking experience.

To put that in perspective, small trace amounts of alcohol naturally occur in everyday foods and drinks like:

• Ripe bananas
  
• Orange juice
  
• Sourdough bread
  
• Kombucha
  
• Yogurt
  

In other words, the level is extremely low and not enough to produce intoxicating effects.

So yes, non-alcoholic beer can contain a trace amount of alcohol — but it’s well below the legal limit and designed to deliver flavor without the buzz.
