14 oz extra firm tofu
-
2 nori sheets
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 tbsp cornstarch
-
1 tbsp Old Bay® seasoning
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp smoked paprika
-
8 oz Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA
-
2 tsp nonstick cooking spray

Set air fryer to 350°F, or preheat oven to 400°F. Cut the russet potato into wedges. Drain the tofu and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel. Slice into three slabs, each about 1 inch thick. Cut each slab in half diagonally to make triangles. Cut the nori sheet into matching shapes and press onto one side of each tofu triangle.
-
Add ¾ cup flour, cornstarch, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Run Wild IPA, and ½ tsp salt to a medium bowl and whisk batter until smooth. Add remaining flour to a plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dip tofu triangles in the batter and dredge in flour.
-
Spray tofu and potato wedges with cooking spray and cook in air fryer until golden brown and crispy, 11 to 13 minutes, or in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle the Beer Batter “Fish N’ Chips” with salt and serve with tartar sauce for dipping.
